Leo Club of Central was founded in January 1998. Sponsored by Lions Club of Central, our Club aims at promoting the motto of Lions International, “We serve”, to young people aged 16-28. Through organizing and participating in various voluntary services, our members are expected to gain Leadership, Experience and Opportunities. We aim at grooming our members to become future leaders in our society.

Throughout the past years, our Club have organized a wide range of voluntary services, with an aim to serve the underprivileged in Hong Kong and China. We organized three China English Teaching Tours to Guangdong, Guei Zhou and He Nan. In these trips, our members taught English to teenagers in China and organized in cultural exchange events. These experiences have allowed our members to serve and learn. To the local community, we regularly organize voluntary services to serve the different sectors of the society, ranging from the elderly, the visually-disabled, new immigrants and single-parented families.

We raise funds annually for our service fund to finance our voluntary services. In the past years, we have organized dinners, dancing party, biking trips, walkathons, flea market, concert, etc to raise funds. These are all the memorable moments of our Club and our members have gained valuable leadership experiences and have widened our horizons.There are around 50 members in our Club. The majority of our members are secondary school students and undergraduates while the rest are graduates who have been working for a few years. Our members are high achieves and have good career prospects. Many of our members are now working in the fields of Accounting, Banking, Surveying, Marketing and Education and there are members who are undergraduates specializing in Medicine, Nursing, Speech and Hearing as well as Information Technology.

Our Club welcomes devoted teenagers who want to learn and serve to join our Club. Our Club looks forward to sharing our joy and fun with all of you.
